multilingual capacity-building

We work with communities, organizations, and institutions to build the skills, systems, and relationships needed for impactful multilingual work.

Through strategic planning, trainings, workshops, coaching, and ongoing accompaniment, we help partners move beyond one-time language access and toward deeper, more sustainable participation and leadership across languages.

community-led planning + design

We co-create planning and design processes that are rooted in community knowledge and guided by curiosity and collaboration.

From engagement strategy and multilingual outreach to facilitation and communications, we steward inclusive processes where a diversity of stakeholders can shape the future of the places they know best.

community interpretation + translation

We provide interpretation, translation, and consulting that make multilingual spaces more welcoming, accessible, and impactful.

We offer community-centered language services for meetings, trainings, workshops, and public processes, while also creating training and paid opportunities for interpreters, translators, and other language workers through Tecolotl’s Language Justice Network.

special projects

We develop experimental, collaborative projects at the intersections of language, culture, place, creativity, and civic life. From research and pilot programs to cultural organizing and creative collaborations, Special Projects give us room to explore new ideas, respond to emerging community needs, and build work that doesn't fit neatly into a box.
